Currently my family resides in a home in which we are basically throwing away alot of money paying way too much rent. We moved to North Carolina as a fresh start from Michigan. Though its been a difficult time financially it was worth it to see our children blossoming in the new area. (Nisa, Kody & Rikki) I recently opened up our lives to the entire world through a website. www.champagnesurge.org and also placed a donation button on there. Our son, Kody, has limited time to be with us. Right now its unknown how long he will live. He is 5 years into his diagnosis of Friedreich's Ataxia and it has progressed much faster then even the doctors have anticipated. Hopes are to be able to purchase a home before Christmas that has a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level for Kody. Currently we had no choice but to put his bedroom upstairs.
