Our family recently received an inquiry for information to send us a donation. When I first seen the check I was like wow finally some headway. But if it seems to good to be true then it probably isn't true. You see the check was for $4950.00 But as of today the check was returned and the funds are gone from our bank account. The person contacted me through email and her name supposidly was Isabel Boardman and her email was isabelboardman@ymail.com ... if you see an email from her BEWARE. It's a scammer in work. Now we are back to square one and trying to make ends meet.
PLEASE MAKEUSE OF THE DONATION BUTTON. OUR GOAL IS TO TRY AND PURCHASE A HOME BEFORE CHRISTMAS. EVERY DOLLAR WILL GET US JUST THAT MUCH CLOSER TO OUR GOAL.
Sitting here just thinking about everything and realizing where we are. It's depressing to think about it actually. Feel like I am what is holding me back from our family being in a better situation. When I was younger I allowed my mother to use my credit which is now coming back to haunt me. We are both working and making it somewhat. If we could get donations to help out it would be a real blessing. As of right now our wish to be in a permanent home before Christmas is looking bleak. Really bleak. And that alone is depressing. Our son is progressing and having to see him struggle to get upstairs to his bedroom where in the permanent house he would have everything he needs on the main level is sad. But I guess we will just keep hoping that someone is reading something and opens up their hearts to a family in need.
So wejust got the call from the mortgage guy. We can't even qualify for a mortgage and he says it may be a year before I could come even close. I just felt like crying. It seems no matter how hard we try to get ahead we just keep getting knocked back. It's rather depressing sometimes though. Just want to get a home and plant roots before anything happens with Kody. Woke up today in great mood thinking maybe we will get a little bit of a break but thats not so. Damn I just want to scream but it's not like thats going to do anything for us. Trying to find ways to make extra cash and having a hard time finding anything legit. I'm just tired of it all.

Though its been a difficult time financially it was worth it to see our children blossoming in the new area. (Nisa, Kody & Rikki) I recently opened up our lives to the entire world through a website. www.champagnesurge.org and also placed a donation button on there. Our son, Kody, has limited time to be with us. Right now its unknown how long he will live. He is 5 years into his diagnosis of Friedreich's Ataxia and it has progressed much faster then even the doctors have anticipated. Hopes are to be able to purchase a home before Christmas that has a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level for Kody. Currently we had no choice but to put his bedroom upstairs.
